Mike and extended family,
We were so sorry to learn about Rose Marie's passing. After leaving our business in Montville we have lost touch with so many of our customers. I have to tell you that my daughter and I absolutely loved the goat cheese dip that we would occasionally buy from her so many years ago. She was a kind and gracious woman and will be missed. Rose Marie and I spent many childhood times together, starting with walking to school together in first grade. We were both in Blue Birds and Camp Fire Girls, went to Camp Yakewi together, and kept busy with board games or other pursuits in summers. Our paths diverged by the time we were in high school, but we kept in touch occasionally and attended two Parma Senior High reunions together. It was wonderful to attend her wedding to Mike, and to know she had a great partner to share these past 10 (or so) years. I so admired how Roe (I still find it easier to call her by the childhood name Rose Marie) came to have the "farm life" that she so enjoyed, even though it was a tough life in many ways. I am so sad that I hadn't talked with her in several years, but through Facebook I saw her continued enjoyment of cooking, raising animals, and providing thoughtful and sometimes inspirational information and comments. Bless you, Rose Marie, for your loving and compassionate spirit. Even though I've been so far away in miles, you have been thought of more often than you might expect, and I will miss you.
