I remember Bob well from his time with us at Central Christian Church Marietta, OH. I offer my sincere condolences at his passing. I hope your memories sustain you in the days and weeks ahead and ease the grief his loss has caused. My dad, Charles Beardmore, was also a member of the church and he passed away Oct. 4th this year. So I can empathize with how Bob's passing affects you all. Take Care! Janet

Very sorry to hear of Rev. Mathews passing. He was youth minister at Beechwood Presbyterian in Parkersburg when I was in high school in the 80s. I really appreciated his leadership, his friendship and of course his sense of humor! He was a very positive influence on me and all the youth. He will be greatly missed.

I am very sorry to hear about Bob. I greatly enjoyed working with him at MOVP. Bob officiated my wedding in 2001. Bob was a wonderful man and had a great sense of humor!
