I took care of my daddy and mother through their fight with Alzheimer's. It has been a long ten years but I have learned things about myself that I never knew. I tried to help give them a quality of life when it didn't seem possible. Daddy loved to eat and mother loved have her hair curled daily and weekly manicures. They have always been a positive influence and taught me by example. The love my parents shared will last through eternity and I'm so happy they are together again. I can't imagine my life without mom but I know she would want me to live my life and be happy. I love you.

My Grandmother and Grandfather were both amazing people. The best times of my life were had while spending time with both of them. I miss them both very much but am also glad that they are reunited. Even when my Grandmother was very lost due to advanced alzheimers, she knew who me and my brother were and called us by our names. Before we would leave from visiting her, she would always tell us to let her know if there was anything she could do to help us out in any way. That just confirms how deeply she cared for us even when she was sick. There arent enough words to describe how I have benifited from being raised by such loving grandparents. I love them both very much and will miss them dearly.

Joe and I were extremely lucky to have been taken under our grandparent's wings as we were growing up. It would take several pages for me to begin to even try to paint a picture of how instrumental they have been in our lives.
Both my grandmother and grandfather were the kindest, most gentle, most selfless people I have ever had a pleasure of knowing.

We will never forget them and they will always be a part of who we are.

I like to think about a Dr. Seuss quote I was telling Aunt Sandie about after my grandmother's passing : “Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.”

Joe, you and David filled a spot in mom's and dad's heart that their two daughters could not fill. They got the boys they always wanted. I don't think I know anyone who loved as deeply as them. Everyday I think of them every day and what they have taught me about life. I think me, you, and David share that same love. I am now your mother and grandmother. I would do anything for you and David.

Joyce you were her first niece. She told me how crazy she was over you when you were born. She loved all her nieces and nephews.

I always think of you if I hear the song, "Ka...Ka...Katy, beautiful Katy." She did adore you and you brought many hours of happiness and smiles. She would sing that song to you while swinging you on the front porch until you would fall asleep.

My mom loved the Glenn family. She had so many memories of your family and we would often talk about the Glenn family. She had her long term memory for a while and did remember you especially, of course. She is at peace and with her heavenly family and I can't be sad for that.
