May I express my heartfelt condolences to your family. At this time, there is a sense of helplessness when someone who has lived so long and has impacted you life dies. Many wonder and ask how does one get through this time? Prayer is extremely valuable at this time, Psalms 55:22 says " throw all your burdens on Jehovah, and he will sustain you" As you cry and mourn over the loss please remember Jesus Christ spoke about a real hope at John 5:28, " all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out ". May the God of comfort (Psalms 83:18) be your comfort during this time of great loss.
