Lester Allen Byler

Lester Allen Byler, 56, of Maumee, passed away peacefully after a brief illness at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee, OH Wednesday morning, November 2nd, 2016. He was born in Warren, OH on February 8th, 1960 to the late Andy C. and Barbara (Mast) Byler. Lester was a resident at the Sunshine Creating Community in Maumee, OH. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He will be greatly missed by: siblings, Mary Ann (Monroe) Kuhns of Garrettsville, OH, Edna Mae (Albert) Hershberger of Orwell, OH, Saloma Byler of Huntsburg, OH, Chris (Nancy) Byler of Garrettsville, OH, Mahlon (Sylvia) Byler of Ethan, South Dakota, Andy (Susan) Byler of New Cumberland, WV, Thomas (Linda) Byler of Carlton, PA, Owen Byler of Maumee, OH, Robert (Barbara) Byler of Fremont, MI, Barbara Ann (Mose) Troyer of Mantua, OH, Samuel (Debbie) Byler of Peoria, AZ, Melvin (Mary) Byler of Pearisburg, VA; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Lester is preceded in death by: his parents; and brothers, Erwin and Joseph Byler.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4TH, 2016, AT THOMAS BYLER’S RESIDENCE, 707 CARLTON ST., CARLTON, PA 16311 with Bishop Andrew Hostetler officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris Hostetler, Samuel Hostetler, Mose Shetler, and Jonathan Byler. Lester’s final resting place will be in the Carlton Street Amish Cemetery, Carlton, PA.
