I knew Chris briefly through Rob Pierce. What I did know is that Chris was a very funny person and my condolences go out to his family. I also lost someone before their time and read this from time to time, it's helped me, I hope it may bring you a small measure of comfort.
The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning,that God
was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to loose you,
you did not go alone;
for part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide;
