Adrienne "Carol" (Shelton) Mix

Adrienne Carol Shelton Mix, 79, passed away peacefully October 1st, 2016, at her home in Mantua Village, OH. She was born in Chagrin Falls, OH on March 22nd, 1937 to Oakley C. and Leora (Engle) Shelton. Carol was a graduate of Chagrin Falls High School in 1956 and spent her career in food service management.

Preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Helen, Milton, Elmer, William, Vivian, Anita, Leora Eloise, Oakley, Wanda, Beverly, Betty Lou, Darrel, Elwood, and Fredrick "Pete".

Survived by her children; James of Cleveland, David of Columbus, Daniel of Middlefield, Susan of Hiram Village, Robert (Sandra) of Choteau, MT, and Polly of Cleveland Heights; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many friends.

A GRAVESIDE SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 1:00 P.M., THURSDAY, OCTOBER 6TH, 2016 AT EVERGREEN HILL CEMETERY, 506 SOUTH FRANKLIN ST., CHAGRIN FALLS, OH 44022. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be made in Carol's memory to the Portage Animal Protective League, 8122 Infirmary Rd., Ravenna, OH 44266.
