Ada Y. (Yoder) Miller

Ada Y. Miller (nee Yoder), 81, of West Farmington, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Monday evening, August 24th, 2015. She was born January 28th, 1934 in Nappanee, IN to the late Daniel L. and Mary Ann (Miller) Yoder. Ada later married Melvin E. Miller on September 18th, 1956. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

She will be greatly missed by: her loving husband of 59 years, Melvin; children, Cynthia Ann (Ervin) Byler of Hillsboro, OH, Kathlyn Maria Gingerich of PA, Robert Daniel (Elvesta) Miller of KY, Mary Sue (Sam) Detweiler of KY, Kay Emma (Joe) Miller of KY, Mark Edward (Martha) Miller of KY, Melvin Ray (Ruth) Miller of Farmington, OH, Andrew Jon (Sara Jane) Miller of Burton; Lydia Miller, her loving caregiver; 49 grandchildren; 87 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ada is preceded in death by: her parents; son-in-law, William Gingerich; 3 grandchildren; 3 brothers; and 6 sisters

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., THURSDAY, AUGUST 27TH, 2015 5181 ENSIGN RD., WEST FARMINGTON, OH with Minister Elmer Yoder officiating. Pallbearers will be Wayne Detweiler, Matthew Detweiler, Mark Weaver, and Robert Hershberger. Visitation will be anytime until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Troyer Cemetery in West Farmington, OH.
