Rose Marie "Roe" (Sir) Halberstadt

Rose Marie "Roe" Halberstadt (nee Sir), 66, of Montville, passed away peacefully Friday evening, January 6th, 2017 at Blossom Hill Health Care Residence in Huntsburg, OH. She was born in Cleveland, OH on July 29th, 1950 to the late Joseph and Margaret E. (Ragany) Sir.

Roe had a heart as big as all outdoors and was always a kind, loving, and giving person. Roe truly enjoyed the holidays and gatherings with her family. Cooking was her passion, especially during the holidays. She would spend hours in the kitchen with a smile on her face while making delicious food from soup to salads. She worked many years at Great Lakes Cheese in Troy Twp and also operated a cheese making supply business out of her house. Roe enjoyed raising goats and making goat milk cheese. She was a member of the Geauga County Goat Club. Roe was a very special lady and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

She will be greatly missed by: her loving husband of 15 years, Michael Piskorowski; sister, Susan (Dennis) Meek of Columbus; and many friends. Roe is preceded in death by: 1st husband, Paul P. Halberstadt and son, Simon Halberstadt.
