At Best Funeral Home, we are committed to serve each family with dignity and respect by providing professional, caring service.
Our Middlefield facility, which is often referred to as "homey" and a very comfortable setting, can seat 110 people comfortably in our main viewing room with an extra 40 in our overflow section.
We offer a wide variety of services that include traditional burials, cremation, memorial services, monuments and markers, and pre-planning. The following are a brief description of some of our services because we want to ensure you are properly informed of your options so you may choose what service is right for you:
Complete Traditional Funeral Services
Best Funeral Home is able to conduct a complete traditional service with visitation and funeral service at our Middlefield location, any Place of Worship, or any other designated facility of your choosing.
Graveside Services
Best Funeral Home is able to perform graveside and committal services at any cemetery in Ohio. These could be with or without a formal visitation.
Full Service Cremation
A full service cremation consists of utilizing our rental casket and having the deceased present for a visitation and service. Cremation would then take place afterward.
Direct Cremation
Direct Cremation is also an available option. With this service, there are no formal viewings or services.
What can I do with cremated remains?
With a cremation, many choose earth burial, a columbarium, or scattering of the ashes as a final disposition. We would like to inform you of other options that may be of interest to you. Memorial Services
Best Funeral Home can hold a memorial service with or without an urn present at our facility, any Place of Worship or any other designated facility of your choosing. We can also hold a memorial service at the destination of final disposition such as at a graveside or columbarium.
Immediate Burial
We are able to perform an immediate burial in which there are no formal ceremonial services or visitations.
Services with/for another Funeral Provider
Best Funeral Home is able to transfer and receive remains with other funeral homes throughout the country. If a loved one dies while out of town, our funeral directors will make the necessary arrangements to return your loved one home.
Anatomical Donations
We would also like to provide you with other options regarding anatomical donations.
LifeBanc is the non-profit organ procurement and tissue recovery agency for Northeast Ohio. As one of the original seven independent organ procurement organizations in the United States, LifeBanc serves a population of 4.3 million people and works with 80 hospitals in 20 counties.
Whole body donation is another option through the Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine.
They emphasize the importance and need for the study of human bodies in medical schools as a prime requisite for medical education.

Been a year since you helped me lay Candice to Rest, still a little difficult ,thank you for your thoughtful approach and caring.
