Wilmer N. Byler

Wilmer N. Byler, 79 years old, of Middlefield Twp, Ohio passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, November 16th, 2024 at home while surrounded by his family. He was born in Middlefield, Ohio on December 14th, 1944 to the late Nevin U. and Iva J. (Gingerich) Byler. Wilmer later married his best friend and love of his life, Ruth (Miller) Byler on September 12th, 1968. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

He will be dearly missed by: his loving wife of 56 years, Ruth; children, Wilmer (Mary Kay) Byler Jr., Larry (Elizabeth) Byler, Raymond Byler, Norman (Fannie) Byler, Allan (Rosanna) Byler, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Mullet, Ida Marie (Danny Ray) Miller; 30 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 sister and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Wilmer is preceded in death by: his parents, 1 brother, and 2 sisters.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, MONDAY, NOVEMBER 18TH, 2024 AT 15471 BURTON WINDSOR RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Robert J. Gingerich officiating. Pallbearers will be Andrew A. Miller, Bill Miller, Aaron Gingerich, and Andrew Troyer. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Wilmer’s final resting place will be in Miller Cemetery, Huntsburg, Ohio.
