Wayne T. Gardner

Wayne T. Gardner, 50, of Southington, OH, passed away unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, August 24th, 2025 at his home. He was born in Mansfield, OH on December 3rd, 1974 to the late W.T. and Virgie (Holmes) Gardner.

Wayne was a 'get in there and get it done on his own time' kind of person, but he always did it right; he didn't take shortcuts. Wayne never knew a stranger; he would literally give the shirt off his back to someone in need. If you had something on your mind or were sad, he would have a Mr. Miyagi fortune cookie explanation to help you feel better or understand what steps you needed to take to make it better. He loved to joke, cook, and talk. He loved his family; you could go months without talking to him and then pick up right where you left off, like you didn't miss anything. Wayne touched so many souls with his silly, kind, and leadership personality; he always knew what people needed when they needed it. He will be loved and missed by so many people.

Wayne will be greatly missed by: his daughters, Savanna, Kirsten, Jasmine, Brooklynn Gardner; sister, Lisa (Gardner) Rigdon; brother, Paul (Marquita) Gardner; nieces Alisha Rigdon, Shawna Tidwell; nephews, Donovan Rigdon, Garin Gardner; and many friends.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD AT A LATER DATE.
