Victoria Lynn Callaway

Victoria “Vicky” L. Callaway, 56 of Chesterland, OH, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, December 29th, 2021 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. She was born in Ravenna, Ohio on February 21st, 1965 to Donald B. Callaway and Shirley Ann (Finney) Johnson. Vicky married David Roose on July 3rd, 2004. 

Vicky always loved being that special person anyone could rely on. Family meant everything to her as she enjoyed being a wife, mothers and grandmother. When the kids were younger, Vicky liked having all the neighbor kids over making her the neighborhood mom. As the kids grew and had children of their own, Vicky cherished the role of grandmother.

She will be greatly missed by: her loving husband of 17 years, David; children, Christopher Callaway, Sabrina Callaway, Daniel Callaway; mother, Shirley (Ron) Johnson; grandchildren, Madison Stokes, Liam Callaway, Elias Cintron, Olivia Hancharik, Hailey Roose, Logan Hancharik; siblings, Bob Callaway, Ken (Sara) Callaway, Michael Callaway, Kathy (Don) McCurdy; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Vicky is preceded in death by: her father, Donald; and brother, Bert Callaway; and sister, Colleen Callaway.  

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 7:00 P.M., MONDAY, JANUARY 3RD, 2022 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Joyce Benesh officiating. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
