Trudy L. (Ellis) Todd

On the evening of Thursday October 31st, 2024, Trudy L. Todd (nee Ellis) passed away peacefully and went home to heaven where she met her savior. She was born in Cleveland OH on July 22, 1963 to Sheldon and Margaret (Guffey) Ellis. On May 1st, 2004 she married Mark C. Todd who will miss her deeply and will cherish every memory he has of her.

Trudy’s favorite place was Michigan at our family cabin, but almost any beach on the great lakes she felt at peace and at home. She spent many hours just soaking up the breeze and enjoying the peace of the water and the beauty of the nature around her. When she would hear a good song she would turn it up and have her own little dance party regardless of who's around, you’ve probably even heard her say “i have that song in the attic”. She was the type of person you could come to with anything and she knew how to fix it whether that be a torn jacket or a broken heart. With her unconditional love and joyful spirit that flowed through her she was able to make friends wherever she went. Trudy had a passion for taking care of children and when she had her own that passion manifested into the greatest love any of her children could ask for. As much as she loved her friends and family she also had a soft spot for her pets.

Trudy was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed by: her husband of 20 years, Mark Todd; mother, Margaret Ellis; children, Jonathan E. (Tiffany R.) Ellis, Kathryn M. Ellis, Benton M. Todd, Eleanor R. Todd; sister, Taffey (Jeff) Pavlic; and many friends.

She is preceded in death by: her father, Sheldon Ellis, and sister, Tammy Rae Ellis.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD BEGINNING AT 2:00 PM, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 15TH, 2024 AT SWINE CREEK RESERVATION, 16004 HAYES RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH 44062.
