Tracy Lynn Hall (nee Boyd), 53, of Middlefield, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer Monday morning, August 31st, 2020 at her home. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Tracy was born July 20th, 1967 in Cleveland, Ohio.
She attended Berkshire High School. She lived in Geauga County for much of her life, but moved to Iowa so that she could spend her time doing what she loved the most; playing with her granddaughters Brooklynn and Bella. She loved spending time outdoors; gardening, camping, bonfires, playing cornhole and softball. She enjoyed animals. In her final months, you could often find her sitting outside talking with her friends; the squirrels and birds.
Tracy will be greatly missed by: her daughter, Kendra (Torrence Avant) Griffin; parents, Linda (Marty) Hostetler; step-mother, Lynn Boyd; grandchildren and light of her life Brooklynn, Annabella; brother, Dennis (Debra) Boyd; sisters, Jodie (Norm Darling) Conley, Katie Hostetler; nephews, Tim Boyd aka “Noodleman”, Colton Hostetler aka “Colton Bolton”; nieces, Megan (Jake Franczek) Boyd aka “Meg Monster”, Baili (Brian Sawyer) Conley aka “Baili Boo”; her best friend “Cliffy”, and many other friends and family.
She is preceded in death by: her father, Paul T. Boyd; paternal grandparents, John and Esther Boyd; maternal grandparents, Edward and Viola Jayne; cousin Darran Boyd; niece, Amber Lynn Conley; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD AT 6 P.M., THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3RD, 2020 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Josh Vincent officiating. Family and friends will be received from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
