Obituary
Thelma Rose Horvath (nee Torok), 93, of Middlefield, OH passed away peacefully early Sunday morning May 21st, 2023 at UH-Geauga Medical Center while surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born in Lima, Ohio on July 9th, 1929 to the late Steven and Rose (Molnar) Torok. Thelma is once again reunited with her husband, Walter Horvath, who died February 23rd, 1996.
She will be missed by: her son, William “Bill” Horvath; grandson, Trevor; brother, John (Judy) Torok; and many friends.
Thelma is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Walter.
Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Holland, Charles Webb, Jack Lawson, and Trevor Horvath.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 2PM, SATURDAY, JUNE 3RD, 2023 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Father Jacob Bearer officiating. Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 11AM until the time of the service and then again following the service until 4PM. A private interment will be at a later date.
