Terry Hamner, age 74, of Chardon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 29, 2025.
Born February 25, 1951 in East Cleveland to Emmett Hamner Sr. and Anne (Hardin) Hamner. Terry was a graduate of Eastlake North High School class of 1969.
Over the years Terry has a passion for service to his community, as an instructor for the American Red Cross, Lake County Council of Aging, and retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer of the Ohio Military Reserve after over 20 years of service.
An avid military and gun enthusiast, he co-owned Ordnance Gun Works in Mentor (and later Eastlake) with his brother Emmett. Throughout the years, he was regular at military and gun shows across Northeast Ohio.
After “retiring”, he opened T.H.E. Computer Resource in Chardon with his son Ed, where he took a specialty to helping the senior citizens of Lake and Geauga counties with their computer needs.
Terry is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Pat; his eldest son Ed; youngest son Rob and his wife Beth; 2 cherished grandsons - Rowan and Dylan; older brother Emmett; and older sister Sue; as well as many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by oldest brother Bill.
The family has elected for a private cremation, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
