Sylvia J. (Hershberger) Miller

Sylvia J. Miller (nee Hershberger), 85 years old, of Bloomfield Twp, Ohio passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, January 22nd, 2025 at UH-Geauga Medical Center in Claridon Twp, OH. She was born in Parkman, Ohio on January 18th, 1940 to the late Jonathon J. and Mattie J. (Schmucker) Hershberger. Sylvia is once again reunited with her loving husband, Daniel J. Miller, who died October 14th, 2016. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

She will be missed by: her children, Kenneth (Emma) Miller, Joseph (Cynthia Lou) Miller, Sally (Robert) Miller, Daniel (Laura) Miller Jr., David (Barbara) Miller, MaryLou (Michael) Slaubaugh, Martha (Melvin Jr.) Miller, Laura (Wayne) Miller, 61 grandchildren; 119 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers; 3 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Sylvia is preceded in death by: Her parents; husband, Daniel; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers; and 1 sister.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, SATURDAY, JANUARY 25TH, 2025 AT 9830 PENNIMAN RD, ORWELL, OH with Bishop Robert Burkholder Jr. officiating. Pallbearers will be Bill Detweiler, Reuben Hilty, Allen Hostetler, and Billy Miller. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service at 9880 Penniman Rd., Orwell. Sylvia’s final resting place will be in Clover Hill Cemetery, North Bloomfield, Ohio.
