Steven D. Hostetler

Steven D. Hostetler, 33, of Nelson Twp, OH passed away unexpectedly due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Saturday evening, August 6th, 2022. He was born in Claridon Twp, OH on February 24th, 1989 to Daniel Ray and Martha (Schmucker) Hostetler. Steven later married Rhoda Detweiler on June 9th, 2009. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

He will be missed by: his loving wife of 13 years, Rhoda; children, Robbie Jon, Joanna Marie, Julie Anne, Lucas Jay, Ella Grace; parents, Daniel Ray and Martha (Schmucker) Hostetler; in-laws, Benjamin and Shirley Ann (Gingerich) Detweiler; paternal grandfather, Dan D. Hostetler Jr.; maternal grandfather, Neil F. Schmucker; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  

Steven is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Esther (Hochstetler) Hostetler and maternal grandmother, Betty (Coblentz) Schmucker

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., TUESDAY, AUGUST 9TH, 2022 AT 10268 KENNEDY LEDGE RD., NELSON TWP, OH with Bishop Eli Troyer officiating. Pallbearers will be John Miller, Adam Miller, Marlin Miller, and John Troyer. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Steven’s final resting place will be in Weaver Cemetery, West Farmington, OH.
