Sarah S. (Shetler) Miller

Sarah S. Miller (nee Shetler), 63 years old, of Mesopotamia, Ohio passed away peacefully Thursday morning, June 4th, 2026, at home while surrounded by her family. She was born in Akron, Ohio on October 25th, 1962, to the late John H. and Clara (Hostetler) Shetler. Sarah later married her best friend and love of her life, Jerry E. Miller, on June 1st, 1982. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

She will be missed by: her loving husband of 44 years, Jerry; children, Lori (David Jr.) Kuhns, Lena (Mervin) Kuhns, Linda (Wallace Jr.) Miller, Joseph (Laura) Miller; Jonathan Miller; 20 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Sarah is preceded in death by: her parents; a stillborn daughter; and 1 grandchild. 

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, SUNDAY, JUNE 7TH, 2026 AT 9951 N. GIRDLE RD. MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Andrew Byler officiating. Pallbearers will be David Troyer, Ervin Wengerd, Joe Byler, and James Yoder. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service at 11031 N. Girdle Rd., Middlefield. Sarah’s final resting place will be in Wilcox Road Cemetery, Mesopotamia, Ohio.
