Sarah L. Byler (nee Miller), 90, of Middlefield Twp, passed away peacefully Monday morning, September 7th, 2020 at her home and surrounded by her family. She was born in Huntsburg, OH on September 6th, 1930 to the late Levi A. and Elizabeth Ann (Miller) Miller. Sarah is once again reunited with her loving husband, Mahlon J.E. Byler, who died May 2nd, 2001. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She will be missed by: her children, Mary Ann (David J.S.) Miller, Rachel (Raymond) Miller, Eli (Alta) Byler, Jerry (Erma) Byler, Sarah Ann (Lonnie) Detweiler, Martha (Owen) Fisher, Ida Byler, Alta (John) Kurtz, Dorothy (Melvin) Troyer, Mahlon J.E. (Linda) Byler Jr.; son-in-law, Robert Burkholder; 73 grandchildren; 108 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Sarah is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Mahlon J.E. Byler; daughters, Betty Byler, Viola Burkholder; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 7 brothers; and 3 sisters.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 1:00 P.M., WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9TH, 2020 AT 17022 NAUVOO RD., MIDDLEFIELD with Bishop Rudy N. Detweiler officiating. Pallbearers will be Daniel Miller, Chester Miller, Joe A. Detweiler, and Mahlon Detweiler. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. Sarah's final resting place will be in Nauvoo Road Cemetery, Middlefield, OH.
