Sarah J. (Byler) Detweiler

Sarah J. Detweiler (nee Byler), 65, of Middlefield Twp, passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, July 30th, 2020 at her home and surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Atlantic, PA on May 11th, 1955 to the late Jonas A. and Sadie E. (Byler) Byler. Sarah later married Albert J. Detweiler on November 6th, 1975. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

She will be missed by: her husband of 44 years, Albert; children, Sadie (John) Byler, Laura (Milo) Glick, Susan (Samuel) Miller, Marvin (Barbara) Detweiler, Eli (Mary) Detweiler, Billy (Rebecca) Detweiler, Fannie (Jonas) Miller, Melvin (Martha) Detweiler, Daniel (Kathryn) Detweiler, John (Irene) Detweiler; 38 grandchildren; 1 brother; 3 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Sarah is preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., SUNDAY, AUGUST 2ND, 2020 AT 16735 NAUVOO RD., MIDDLEFIELD with Bishop Gid Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Marvin Troyer, David Weaver, Joseph Bricker, and David Bricker. Sarah’s final resting place will be in Nauvoo Road Cemetery, Middlefield, Twp., OH. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service.
