Sandra Beth "Sandy" (Silverman) Waters

Sandra Beth “Sandy” Waters (nee Silverman) of Newbury, Ohio, passed away on January 14, 2020, at age 64 with her family by her side. Sandy was born on April 10, 1955, to the late Robert and Myrtle (Goldberg) Silverman.

She graduated in 1973 from Shaker Heights High School, and spent many years in the direct mail advertising industry as a respected mailing list specialist, many of those years at her father’s company, Robert Silverman Inc. In her later years she took care of her parents and worked with her therapy dog Montana to bring comfort to the residents of Stone Gardens assisted living facility and elsewhere.

Sandy also focused on her study of spiritual healing, tended to a vast menagerie of animals that she and her husband Kevin provided a home for, and most importantly, she became the centerpiece of her eight grandchildren’s lives. She also loved to paint.

Survivors include her husband Kevin Waters, her sons Andy (Angela) and Tony (Jennifer) Silverman, her brother Jack (Wendy) Silverman and her grandchildren Alanna, Autumn, Dexter, Michael, Penny, Tiffany, Tommy and Violet.

A Private Ceremony of the immediate family was held at her home in Newbury on January 15th,. A larger Memorial Celebration is being planned for later this year.
