Samuel J. Weaver

Samuel J. Weaver, 82 years old, of Middlefield, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday evening, October 6th, 2024 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, OH. He was born in Middlefield Twp, Ohio on August 12th, 1942 to the late Jerry J. and Lydiann (Sommers) Weaver. Samuel later married his best friend and love of his life, Elizabeth (Kauffman) Weaver on November 10th, 1966. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

He will be dearly missed by: his loving wife of 57 years, Elizabeth Weaver; children, Barbara (Robert) Yoder, Laura (Marvin) Borkholder, Ella (Amos) Miller, Samuel (Maurine) Weaver Jr., Christian (Linda) Weaver, Elizabeth (Mervin) Erb, Linda (Samuel) Frey, Ruth (Mose) Troyer Jr.; 42 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Samuel is preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother; and 3 sisters.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 9TH, 2024 AT 17117 NEWCOMB RD, MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Wayne Weaver officiating. Pallbearers will be Marty Fisher, Joe Miller, Aaron Miller, and Aaron Troyer. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Samuel’s final resting place will be in Yoder Cemetery, Parkman, Ohio.
