Samuel J. Miller

Samuel J. Miller, 69, of Parkman Twp., passed away peacefully after a brief illness Sunday morning, November 1st, 2020 at home while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Cleveland, OH on August 2nd, 1951 to the late Joe J.C. and Sara N. (Bender) Miller. Samuel later married Esther Kurtz on October 2nd, 1975. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and Bishop of the Frams Corner Church District.

He will be missed by: his loving wife of 45 years, Esther; children, Robert S. (Erma) Miller, Mary (John Jr.) Fisher, Sara (Marty) Byler, Susan (Paul John) Hershberger, Esther (Eli) Miller; 30 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 2 brothers; 1 sister; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Samuel is preceded in death by: his parents and 2 grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4TH, 2020 AT 17574 NEWCOMB RD., PARKMAN, OH with Minister Andy R. Schmucker officiating. Pallbearers will be Allen Yoder, Chester Hershberger, Marvin Troyer, Chester Kauffman, Marty Troyer, and Chester Miller. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. Samuel's final resting place will be in Yoder Amish Cemetery, Parkman Twp, OH.
