Sadie R. (Schmucker) Miller

Sadie R. Miller, (nee Schmucker), 84, of Troy Twp, OH, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, October 15th, 2024 at her home while surrounded by her family. She was born in Troy Twp, OH on November 15th, 1939 to the late Roman J. and Edna C. (Hershberger) Schmucker. Sadie later married her best friend and love of her life, Henry M. Miller on April 2nd, 1959. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

She will be missed by: her loving husband of 65 years, Henry; children, Viola (Henry) Shrock, William (Sadie) Miller, Susan (Marvin) Miller, Mary Ann (Lester) Byler, Roy (Susan Irene) Miller, Martin (Susan Kay) Miller, Edward (Linda) Miller, Barbara (Eli) Yoder, Henry (Ruth) Miller Jr.; 63 grandchildren; 101 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Sadie is preceded in death by: her parents; 1 great-great-grandchild; 1 brother; and 2 sisters.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 A.M., THURSDAY, OCTOBER 17TH, 2024 AT 17201 MUMFORD RD., TROY TWP with Bishop Simon Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Elmer Byler, Marvin Glick, Norman Kurtz, and Bill Kurtz. Sadie’s final resting place will be in Mumford Road Cemetery, Troy Twp, OH. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service.
