Roman J. Troyer

Roman J. Troyer, 84, of Parkman, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, June 15th, 2021 at his home and surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Middlefield, OH on February 18th, 1937 to the late Joas D. and Lovina (Miller) Troyer. Roman later married Esther Yoder on December 31st, 1959. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He will be missed by: his wife of 61 years, Esther; children, Marty (Ida) Troyer, Dorothy (David) Miller, Ada (Ivan) Schmucker, Roman (Martha) Troyer Jr., Betty (Levi Jr.) Yoder, Barbara (Jonas) Schmucker; 43 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Roman is preceded in death by: his parents; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., FRIDAY, JUNE 18TH, 2021 AT 15495 PATCH RD., MIDDLEFIELD with Bishop Crist C. Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Mervin Yoder, Melvin Weaver, Vernon Yoder, and Daniel Hochstetler. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. Roman's final resting place will be in Yoder Cemetery, Parkman, OH.
