Robert "Red" Lee Quiggle

Robert “Red” Lee Quiggle, 86, of Nelson Twp, OH passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, September 29th, 2021 at his home. He was born in Mecca, Ohio to the late Jay L. and Blanche (Williams) Quiggle on June 30th, 1935. Robert later married Patricia Anne Dye on November 14th, 1964.

He retired after working at General Electric for many years. Robert then began being an Amish Taxi Driver, which he truly loved. Robert grew up being an avid roller skater, which is where he met Pat at the local skating rink. He was also an avid dirt track race car fan. Robert loved taking the kids to Sharon Speedway when they were younger. In his later years, his children took him. He also enjoyed listening to Bluegrass music and spending time with his family.

Robert will be greatly missed by: his loving wife of 56 years, Pat; children, Scott A. (Lisa) Quiggle, Crystal Lynn Barnosky, Robert “Justin” (Carolyn) Quiggle; grandchildren, Stacy Burdette, Katlin Hanna, Samantha Quiggle, Cory (Rachelle) West, Ashleigh Quiggle; great-grandchildren, Rayne, Serenity, Jacob, Brianna, Bentley, Kayden; sister, Lucy Riz; and many friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Jay and Blanche; and brothers, Harry, Donald, George, Emory, and Carl.
