Rex Smith-Simmons

Rex Smith-Simmons, 14 years old, of Warren, Ohio, passed away peacefully with his loved ones by his side on December 26th, 2025. He was a loving friend and companion of Heidi Smith and Joe Simmons. 

He was born in Middlefield, Ohio on June 23rd, 2011. 

Rex loved playing with his fur friends and LOVED his bones. The thing he liked the most was being outside in the winter and playing in the snow. He also likled playing on the trampoline with his fur friends. 

He will be deeply missed by: his human parents, Heidi and Joe; human siblings, Jordan and Becca; many human aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandparents; and his canine friends, Miracle, Lucky, Chase, Myla, and Luna. 

Rex is preceded in death by: canine friends, Roxy, Hoss, Rosco; guinea pig friend, Oreo; and squirrel friend, Chip.
