Rebecca C. Hatcher (nee Knisely) 82, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, November 5th, 2024 at The Legacy Assisted Living Community in Farmdale, Ohio. She was born in Chardon on February 2nd, 1942 to the late Frederick C. and Audrey R. (Town) Knisely.
She was a 1960 graduate of Burton High School. Following graduation, Rebecca spent many years working at LFE, MIDCOR, and Ames before settling down to be a homemaker. She spent most of her life in Geauga County.
Rebecca loved her horses and dogs, going 4-wheeling, crocheting, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and sister.
She will be missed by: her children, Debbie Pineda, Dale (Andrea) Alden; grandchildren, Heather (Stewart) Campbell and Bryan (Melissa) Pineda; great-grandchildren, Maddison Pineda, Avery Campbell, Payton Campbell, Scott Campbell, Sophie Pineda, Mason Kolesar; sister, Bonne Knisely; and many friends.
Rebecca is preceded in death by: her parents and brother-in-law, Donald Schnell.
Per Rebecca’s wishes, no services are to be held at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Rebecca’s name are requested to be made to a charity of your choice.
