Raymond E. Mast

Raymond E. Mast, 77 years old, of Middlefield Twp, Ohio passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, June 3rd, 2025 at his home while surrounded by his family. He was born in Middlefield, Ohio on May 30th, 1948 to the late Elmer J. and Emma (Miller) Mast. Raymond is once again reunited with his loving wife, Emma (Byler) Mast, who died October 31st, 2003. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and an Ordained Deacon of the Old State Road Church District.  

He will be missed by: his children, Iva Mae (Marvin) Hershberger, Arlene (Timothy) Miller, Laura (John David) Byler, Marion (Raymond) Detweiler, Raymond R. (Mary Lou) Mast; 33 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 1 sister; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Raymond is preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Emma; son, Wayne Mast; and 1 brother.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, FRIDAY, JUNE 6TH, 2025 AT 17085 SHEDD RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Eli L. Yoder officiating. Pallbearers will be Marty Slabaugh, Freeman Troyer, David Kurtz, and Wally Bricker. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service at 17127 Shedd Rd., Middlefield, OH. Raymond’s final resting place will be in Yoder Cemetery, Parkman, Ohio.
