Phyllis M. (Cahur) Timco

Phyllis M. Timco (née Cahur), 79, of Munson Twp, Ohio, passed away peacefully at UH-Geauga Medical Center on Friday afternoon, April 30, 2021 while surrounded by her family. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 15, 1941 to the late Benjamin and Eleanor (Grams) Cahur. Phyllis is once again reunited with her loving husband of 50 years, Ronald J. Timco, who passed away November 28, 2019.

Phyllis grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Holy Name High School. She earned a degree in Psychology at Lake Erie College.

Phyllis had a zest for life and loved to go out dancing with Ronald. Never one to shy away from controversial topics, Phyllis relished a spirited debate and was known for asking thoughtful questions. Her great sense of humor and fun always made her the life of the party. Travel was another favorite pastime, as she and Ronald visited Europe, Hong Kong, Alaska, and many other places. Phyllis, who had an eye for the artistic, filled her home with her nature photography and the many houseplants she cultivated. Over the course of her life, her faith in Jesus Christ came to be of utmost importance to her.

Phyllis will be greatly missed by: her children, Michalene “Mickey” Timco, Keith Timco, Todd (Amy) Timco; grandchildren, Grant, Trevin, and Ryden Timco and Kyan and Brecklin Harrold-Timco; and sister, Sally Cahur.

She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Ronald; and sisters, Sister Cathy Cahur and Nancy Samhric.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 10:00 A.M., THURSDAY, MAY 6, 2021 AT RIVERVIEW CHURCH, 13968 CHILLICOTHE RD., NOVELTY, OH 44072 with Pastor Dave Fry officiating. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 P.M. at Fowlers Mill Cemetery, 12399 Fowlers Mill Rd., Munson Twp.
