Paul J. Miller, 76, of Huntsburg, OH, passed away peacefully at home Saturday morning, October 4th, 2025, following an extended illness. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 6th, 1949, to the late Hart and Nancy (Goras) Miller. Paul married his best friend and love of his life, Kathleen (Rourke) Miller on April 18, 1980, giving them 45 years of marriage.
He was a proud U.S Marine Corps Veteran who served in Vietnam. Paul was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, National Defense Service, Vietnam Service, Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medals. In his early years, he loved riding his Harley and was always adamant that family came first. Paul was also avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Paul will be greatly missed by: his wife, daughter, Elizabeth (Arthur Galyon) Miller; sons, Mark (Kathy) Miller, Michael (Beth) Miller, and Daniel (Maria) Miller; grandchildren, Justin, Kirra, Savannah, Jacob, Nicholas, Noah, Joscelyn, and Brady; brothers Frank Miller, Chris Miller, and Vicky (Miller); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his parents; children Christina Miller, Paul John “P.J” Miller, and John Miller.
A FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 12PM FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10TH, AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH officiated by Pastor Steve Berndt. Family and friends will be received from 11am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Paul’s final resting place will be in Huntsburg Cemetery.
