Patricia “Patty” Sue Dedek (nee Moran), 82, of Parkman, OH, passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, January 2nd, 2025 at home while surrounded by her family. She was born in Sewickley, PA on February 1st, 1942 to the late Albert and Dorothy (Dent) Moran. Patty later married her best friend and love of her life Jim J. Dedek in August, 1965.
Patty had a beautiful voice and loved to sing- especially at Mass. She also loved to use her voice to yell at umpires while watching her 2 boys play Little League games! She was a dog lover and bred and raised Collies. A highlight for her was a trip with her beloved sister Nancy to Medjugorje-her faith was an important part of her life.
Patty was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed by: her loving husband of 59 years, Jim; James E. (Michelle) Dedek and Vincent (Peggy) Dedek; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers Charlie Moran (Evelyn), Bert Moran (Albina) and 1 sister (Nancy Moran).
Per Patty’s wishes, no services are to be held at this time.
