Noah N. Gingerich Jr., 92, of Burton, passed away peacefully Friday morning, May 15th, 2020 at his home and surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Middlefield, OH on August 10th, 1927 to the late Noah N. and Sarah (Kauffman) Gingerich Sr. Noah is once again reunited with his loving wife, Saloma (Schmucker) Gingerich, who died 60 years ago. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He will be missed by: his children, Loma Mae (Raymond) Miller, Sara (John Henry) Kurtz, Mahala Gingerich, Freeman (Ella) Gingerich, Alta (Lester) Detweiler, Ida (Melvin) Miller, Miriam (Ervin) Miller; 32 grandchildren; 106 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Noah is preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Saloma; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 6 brothers; and 3 sisters.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 A.M., MONDAY, MAY 18TH, 2020 AT 14417 HUBBARD RD, BURTON, OH with Bishop Simon A. Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Sam Miller, Lester Byler, Edward Miller, and Elmer Byler. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. Noah’s final resting place will be beside his wife, Saloma, in Miller Cemetery, Huntsburg, OH. In lieu of attending, please send a card to the address above.
