Nelson N. Wengerd Jr.

Nelson N. Wengerd Jr., 41 years old, of Mesopotamia Twp, Ohio passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, March 17th, 2025 at home while surrounded by his family. He was born in Warren, Ohio on May 8th, 1983 to Nelson L. and Katie (Miller) Wengerd. Nelson was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

He will be missed by: his father and step-mother, Nelson and Martha (Bricker) Wengerd; sister, Wilma (William) Byler; nieces, Lorena, Susan, and Maribeth Byler; nephew, Samuel Byler; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Nelson is preceded in death by: his mother, Katie; and sister, Mary Wengerd.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, THURSDAY, MARCH 20TH, 2025 AT 5228 PARKS WEST RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Harvey H. Frey officiating. Pallbearers will be Adam Frey, Melvin Byler, Samuel Kempf, and Raymond Byler. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Nelson’s final resting place will be in Wilcox Road Cemetery, Mesopotamia, Ohio.
