Myrtie L. Lucik (nee Reiter), 91, of North Bloomfield, OH, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, April 9th, 2025 at home while surrounded by her family. She was born in Cuyahoga Falls,
OH on October 6th, 1933 to the late William and Mildred (White) Reiter. Myrtie is once again reunited with her loving husband, Dennis M. Lucik, who died February 1st, 2007.
Myrtie graduated nursing school in 1979 and proudly worked as a nurse until retirement. She loved fiercely and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family. She was extremely proud of her
children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, even taking up a love for rodeo to support them. Other hobbies included gardening, Amazon music, joking with family and friends, and loving on
whatever rescue or baby animal her family brought in. She was blessed to have many close friends that she considered to be her family and had a true love for her hospice team from Ohio Living. To know her was to truly be blessed, and she brought great joy and laughter into many lives.
Myrtie will be missed by her children, Denny (Terri) Lucik, Cindy Hennessey; grandchildren, Angela (Jason) Cox, Aaron Hennessey, Matthew (Kalina) Hennessey, Katlynn (Ian Bacon) Hennessey,
Michael (Jessica) Lucik, Jeff Lucik; great-grandchildren, Garrett, Gavin, Kasey, Eric, Spencer, Avery; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dennis; son-in-law, John Hennessey; and brothers and their wives, William (Bertha) Reiter and Chick (Mary) Reiter.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 7 PM, TUESDAY, APRIL 15TH, 2025 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH 44062 officiated by Chaplain
Dan Yargo. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 4 PM until the time of the service. A private interment will be held at Brownwood Cemetery in North Bloomfield, OH.
