Milo D. Detweiler, 75 years old, of West Farmington, Ohio passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, November 23rd, 2024 at home while surrounded by his family. He was born in Middlefield Twp, Ohio on July 12th, 1949 to the late David R. and Leah (Mullet) Detweiler. Milo later married his best friend and love of his life, Mary W. (Byler) Detweiler on October 28th, 1971. He was an Ordained Minister and a member of the Farmington Northwest Old Order Amish Church District.
He will be greatly missed by: his loving wife of 53 years, Mary; children, Daniel (Betty) Detweiler, Sarah Detweiler, Martha (Philip) Yutzy, Milo (Martha) Detweiler Jr., Ada Detweiler, David (Emma) Detweiler, Esther (Reuben) Yutzy, Joseph (Betty Ann) Detweiler, Harvey (Sara Jane) Detweiler, Rachel (John) Hershberger; 53 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 7 brothers; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Milo is preceded in death by: his parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, MONDAY, NOVEMBER 25TH, 2024 AT 7201 S.R. 534., WEST FARMINGTON, OH with Bishop Crist D. Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Amos Hostetler, Robert Hochstetler, Melvin Miller, and Andrew Kurtz. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Milo’s final resting place will be in Clark Road Cemetery, Mesopotamia, Ohio.
