Michael "Mike" L. Starkey

Michael “Mike” L. Starkey, 65, of Windham Twp, OH passed away peacefully at his home, Friday, November 13th, 2020. He was born in Ravenna, OH on January 20th, 1955 to Jess and Mary (Aldrich) Starkey. 

He was a lifelong resident of Windham who, in his younger days, enjoyed traveling to Canada to go hunting and fishing with his dad and brother. Mike also spent many hours building model cars, planes, ships, and riding the tractor to help with yard work. 

Mike mostly just loved spending time with his partner and best friend of 19 years, Cindy. He would often take her out for a drive just to explore and see what they could find. When Mike was healthier, he also liked taking Cindy out for motorcycle rides. 

He enjoyed reading the daily newspaper and always asked anyone going to the store to pick one up for him. 

Mike will be dearly missed by: his partner, Cindy Aliff; children, Jessica (Ryan) Burleson, Nichole (Kota) Manning, Kenneth Starkey; grandchildren, Madison, Javon, Gretchen, Olivia, Jerod, Max, Alex; great-grandson, Colton; siblings, William (Dot) Starkey, Jim (Linda) Starkey, Gary (Linda) Starkey.

He is preceded in death by: his parents and grandson, Jordan. 

Mike was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, and partner. He will be missed and thought of every day.
