Melvin J. Fisher, 69, of Salesville, died Thursday (June 24, 2021).
He was born December 11, 1951 in Middlefield, son of Sarah (Schmucker) Fisher and the late John Fisher.
Mr. Fisher was a lawn care worker for Southeastern Equipment for many years.
He enjoyed fishing and travelling. He loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Byler) Fisher, whom he married August 16, 1973; his mother, Sarah Fisher of Kentucky; eight sons, John (Martha) Fisher of Orwell, Melvin Ray (Sarah) Fisher of Huntsburg, Marty Fisher of Salesville, David Allen Fisher of Southington, Andrew Fisher of Dalton, Samuel (Nancy) Fisher of Bristolville, Robert (Dominique) Fisher of Bristolville, and Bill Fisher of Somerset; a daughter, Barbara (Lester) Miller of Nashville MI; four brothers, John (Miriam) Fisher of Quaker City, David (Esther) Fisher of Southington, Owen (Martha) Fisher of Salesville, and Daniel (Viola) Fisher of Salesville; three sisters, Kathryn Byler of Garrettsville, Fannie (Jake) Troyer of Mumfordville KY, and Mary Ellen Miller of Mumfordville KY; and twenty-nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 29th, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Mespo Expo Center, 4275 Kinsman Rd NW, Mesopotamia, OH. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 30th, 2021 also at the Mespo Expo Center.
