Mary Lou (Knott) Young

Mary Lou Young (nee Knott), age 79, of Bristolville, Ohio, died peacefully at home on Sunday evening, April 8th, 2018. She was born in Cleveland, OH on November 26th, 1938 to the late Irving and Geraldine (Knapp) Knott. Mary is “Together Again” with her loving husband, Maurice “Morry”, who died October 26th, 2015.

She enjoyed working as a cook at the Centerville Mills YMCA Camp in Bainbridge for many years. Mary Lou also was a previous co-owner of Paradise Lakes Campground in Bristolville.

Mary Lou is survived by: children, Bonnie (Ken) Armour, Daniel (Lori) Young; grandchildren, Brian (Heather) Armour, Chris (Michelle) Young, Mike (Jen) Armour, Jenn (Brandon) Williams, Jeff (Tara) Dozier, Samantha Young, Nick Young, Hallie Berry, Joseph Dozier; great-grandchildren, Briauna, Blake, Madison, Parker, Luke, Wesley, Joanna; Peyton and many friends. She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Morry; daughter, Connie Dozier; and brothers, Richard Knott, Robert Knott, and William Knott.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 11:00 A.M., FRIDAY, APRIL 13TH, 2018 AT THE BRISTOLVILLE, UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 6251 PARK DR., BRISTOLVILLE, OH. Family and friends will be received on Friday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
