Marvin M. Shrock

Marvin M. Shrock, 84 years old, of Orwell, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday evening, March 1st, 2026, at home while surrounded by his family. He was born in Middlefield, Ohio on June 1st, 1941, to the late Mahlon M. and Sarah (Miller) Shrock. Marvin later married his best friend and love of his life, Mae S. Farmwald on March 8th, 1962. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

He will be missed by: his loving wife of 63 years, Mae; children, Ruth Ann (David) Kurtz, Cynthia Lou (Joseph) Miller, Karen Marie (Samuel) Fisher, Sara Jayne (David) Miller, Barbara Jean (Samuel) Miller, Emma Mae (Melvin) Erb, Rebecca Sue (Alan) Stutzman; 42 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; 1 grandchild; 1 great-grandchild; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4TH, 2026 AT 3724 NEW HUDSON RD., ORWELL, OH with Bishop Lester W. Byler officiating. Pallbearers will be Paul Byler, Alan Byler, Steven Miller, and Marvin Miller. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Marvin’s final resting place will be in Clover Hill Cemetery, North Bloomfield, Ohio.
