Obituary

Martha K. Wengerd, 87, of Middlefield Twp, passed away peacefully Monday night, March 1st, 2021 at her daughters home in Orwell, Orwell. She was born in Middlefield, OH on September 17th, 1933 to the late Henry P. and Mattie H. (Shrock) Kuhns. Martha is once again reunited with her loving husband, Andy N. Wengerd, who died April 30th, 2011. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

She will be missed by: her children, Ervin Wengerd, Raymond (Mary) Wengerd, Betty (David) Byler, Freeman (Katie) Wengerd, Firman (Esther) Wengerd, Emma (Lester) Yoder, Norman (Ruth) Wengerd, Mose (Mary) Wengerd, Andy (Elizabeth) Wengerd, Martha (Allen) Fisher; 67 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; 2 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Martha is preceded in death by: her parents, Henry and Mattie Kuhns; husband, Andy N. Wengerd; son, Daniel A. Wengerd; 3 brothers; and 5 sisters.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., THURSDAY, MARCH 4TH, 2021 AT 9600 BUNDYSBURG RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop William W. Detweiler officiating. Pallbearers will be John Yoder, Noah Miller, Crist Byler, and Raymond Fisher. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. Martha's final resting place will be in Wilcox Road Cemetery, Mesopotamia, OH.
