Martha D. Byler (nee Detweiler), 70, of Mesopotamia, passed away suddenly Tuesday afternoon, January 8th, 2019 at UH-Geauga Medical Center. She was born April 25th, 1948 to the late Noah N. and Mattie J. (Shetler) Detweiler. Martha married Joe W. Byler on November 4th, 1969 and she was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She will be greatly missed by: her loving husband of 49 years, Joe; children, William (Barbara) Byler, Betty (Dan) Detweiler, Esther (John) Miller, Barbara (Allen) Miller, Martha (Leroy) Miller, Joseph (Ruth) Byler, Clara Byler, Daniel (Linda) Byler, Allen (Emma) Byler, Ruth (Andrew) Hershberger, Amanda (William) Miller; 69 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 10 siblings; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Martha is preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., FRIDAY, JANUARY 11TH, 2019 AT 5519 DONLEY RD., MESOPOTAMIA with Minister Bill D. Byler officiating. Pallbearers will be Raymond Fisher, Dan Miller, Menno Miller, and John Miller. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. Martha's final resting place will be in Wilcox Road Cemetery, Mesopotamia, OH.
