Malinda D. (Troyer) Byler

Malinda D. Byler (nee Troyer) 85 years old, of Middlefield Twp, Ohio passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, June 16th, 2025 at home while surrounded by her family. She was born in Warren, Ohio on November 28th, 1939 to the late David M. and Elizabeth Ann (Mast) Troyer. Malinda is once again reunited with her loving husband, Lester Lee Byler, who died December 10th, 2022. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

She will be missed by: her children, Marie Ann Miller, David (Katie) Byler, Alma (Mervin) Weaver, Raymond (Ida Mae) Byler, Allan (Malinda) Byler, Martin Byler, Elizabeth (Raymond) Miller, Arlene (Roy) Mullet, Lester (Anna Mary) Byler Jr., Emma (Simon) Yoder; 50 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren; 6 brothers; 5 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Malinda is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Lester Lee; an infant daughter; and son-in-law, David Miller.  

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, THURSDAY, JUNE 19TH, 2025 AT 16409 BUNDYSBURG RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Matthew N. Fisher officiating. Pallbearers will be Noah Fisher, Mike Miller, Freeman Miller, and Mark Yoder. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Malinda’s final resting place will be in Bundysburg Road Cemetery, Parkman, Ohio.
