Louis R. Thompson

Louis R. Thompson, 66, of Mentor, passed away peacefully Friday morning, February 21st, 2020 at University Hospitals Cleveland. He was born in Cleveland, OH on October 10th, 1953 to the late Charles E. and Marie A. (Papotta) Thompson.

He enjoyed listening to classic rock music and playing electric guitar in his own classic rock band. Louis loved Harley Davidson’s and going on rides wearing his black leather H.D. jacket. He also liked cats, going camping and fishing, and occasionally going on ghost/spirit searches.

Louis was a kind and caring man. He most importantly loved spending time with his children.

He will be missed by: his loving children, Heidi Thompson, Joe Munitz, Gabriel Munitz, Tony (Ashley) Munitz, Katrina Munitz, Tiffany Thompson; grandchildren, Autumn, Kristine, Shyanne, Leo, and Noah; ex-wife and friend, Susan Thompson; and many friends.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD FROM 4:00-7:00 P.M., THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 27TH, 2020 AT DEJOHN FUNERAL HOME, 28890 CHARDON ROAD., WILLOUGHBY HILLS, OH 44092.
