Loretta June Rose

Loretta June Rose (nee Stewart) 72, of Huntsburg, OH passed away peacefully at Briar Hill Healthcare Residence in Middlefield Friday afternoon, August 21st, 2020. She was born in Harlan, Kentucky on December 27th, 1947 to the late George Custer and Burket Christeen (Gibson) Stewart. Loretta later married her best friend and love, Jerry Rose in 1967.

She enjoyed gardening, reading, and playing bingo. However, her greatest love was being the foundation and homemaker of her family.

Loretta will be greatly missed by: her loving husband of 53 years, Jerry; sons, Jerry (Catherine) Rose Jr., Mike Rose; grandchildren, Clinton (Lauren) Rose, Jerry Rose III, Xander Rose; great-granddaughter, Carmen Rose; brothers, Ronnie Stewart, Bill Stewart; sisters, Della Gupton, Sarah Portman; her loving canine, Molly; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Eddie Stewart; and sister, Eileen Pierce.

Per Loretta’s wishes, a private burial will be held in Huntsburg Cemetery at a later date.
