Linda (Hershberger) Mullett-Buehner

Linda Mullett-Buehner (nee Hershberger), 88, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully Friday morning, January 7th, 2022 at her daughters home in Madison while surrounded by her family. She was born February 18th, 1933 to the late Samuel and Malinda (Miller) Hershberger.  

Linda was a business woman in Middlefield who owned Geauga Pipe and Supply. She later worked at the Good News and volunteered at Geauga Hospital for 14 years before retiring.

Spending time with her family was always Linda’s favorite thing. She was a very loving mother and grandmother, always showing unconditional love to everyone. Linda liked playing Rummikub, Parcheesi, Sorry, and Jenga games with her daughters and grandchildren.

Linda was often called the “ultimate grandma” because she always carried around her purse full of any needed items like tissues, tums, cough drops and more. She also made the best mandarin orange chicken, spaghetti, and Sunday waffles with strawberries and whipped cream.

She always dressed her best with makeup, jewelry, and nice outfits. Linda even liked maintaining her beautiful long nails, which she normally kept a fuchsia color.  

Linda loved all people and could make friends with literally anyone. Most of all though, she loved Jesus. Linda always had her Bible open on the coffee table and read it every day.

She will be greatly missed by: her loving husband, Don Buehner; children, Carrie (Bill) Reiter, Janet Troyer, Ken (Barb) Mullett, all of Middlefield, Glen (Diane) Mullett of San Antonio, TX, Joan (Bob) Kovach of Madison, Gloria (Bob) Miller of Huntsburg, Sharon (Andy) Futty of Troy Twp, Curtis (Michele) Mullett of Chesterland; 21 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Sylvia Mansfield; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Linda is preceded in death by: her parents; granddaughter, Brianna Mullett; 4 brothers; and 6 sisters.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD AT 12:00 P.M., SATURDAY, JANUARY 15TH, 2022 at best funeral home, 15809 madison rd., middlefield, oh with Pastor Becky Griffin officiating. Family and friends will be received from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
