Lee A. Urbanski

Lee A. Urbanski, 68, of Middlefield Twp, OH, passed away peacefully Friday morning, June 6^th, 2025 at home while surrounded by his family. He was born in Lyndhurst, OH on June 12^th, 1956 to the late Anton and Elizabeth (Owen) Urbanski. Lee later met his best friend and the love of his life, Sue K. (Zack) Urbanski.  They enjoyed taking trips to Ohio Power to off-road and camp and were later married June 13^th 1981.

Lee was a machinist for 30+ years working tirelessly second and third shifts to provide for his wife and children and made sure they always had fun together especially on many family trips to Disney and Mrytle Beach. In his younger years "froggy", as he was well known by his friends, enjoyed riding on his 1971 Harley Davidson Shovelhead that he rebuilt with the help of his sons and often used it as his motivation after he suffered a stroke to get back to riding again. He spent most of his free time in his garage working on vehicles or fixing things. He took pride in his trucks, especially his 6 door diesel that he was determined to pull in the Geauga County Fair in 2024. He enjoyed spending time with his family, dogs, and especially his grandchildren.

While in his hardest moments of battling prostate cancer, a stroke, and chronic pneumonia he came to know the Lord and was saved which gives his family immense peace to know they will see him again someday.

Lee will be greatly missed by: his loving wife of just under 44 years, Sue; daughter, Crystal Urbanski; sons, Brad (Courtney) Urbanski and Steve Urbanski; grandchildren, Aiden, Bella, Jocelyn, and Lincoln; brother, Bill Urbanski; his beloved dogs Rosie and Rosco; and many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Eugene Urbanski; and sister-in-law, Ceil Urbanski. As well as his other beloved dogs through the years  Rufus, Bowser, Bear, Jr, Patches, Tipper, TJ, Haley, Harley, and Squeek.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Hambden Congregational Church on route 6 in Hambden Saturday, June 14^th. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by a service beginning at 12:30 p.m., with lunch to follow.
