Larry D. McCurry

Larry D. McCurry, 77, of Middlefield Twp, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning February 19th, 2019 at University Hospitals-Cleveland. He was born in West Virginia on February 1st, 1942 to the late Allison and Clara (McCombs) McCurry. Larry later married Lillie Woodrum on March 10th, 1988.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran who retired from being a diesel mechanic for Universal Disposal after over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mowing the lawn, and his dog, Star.

Larry will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Lillie (Woodrum) McCurry; children, Jerry (Cara) McCurry, Richard (Cheryl) Roy, Timothy (Tonya) Roy, Deborah (Kirk Adams) Roy, Donna (George) Rosipko, Ronald (Sarina) Roy, Annie (Patrick) Collins; grandchildren, Kathleen, Timothy, Michael, Danielle, Steven, Mikel, Jason, Kelsey, Christopher, Ryan, Breanna, Caleb, Gabriel, Hannah, Victoria, Abygail, Brittany, Rachael, Cierra, Dylan; great-grandchildren, Liam, Grayson, Quinn, Mack, Jameson, Logan, Brayden, Levi, Ezekiel, Amelia, Claire, Stormie, Gabriel, David, Dominic, Eli, Melisandra ; sister, Ruth Sams; niece, Cherri Adams; and many friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, son, James McCurry; brother, Lawrence; and sisters, Jo and Jerri.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 11:00 A.M., MONDAY, FEBRUARY 25TH, 2019 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 5-8 P.M., Sunday, February 24th, 2019. Larry’s final resting place will be in Claridon Center Cemetery.
